30 Years of Helping Charlotte Families

Sally Gordon began her career as an adoption specialist with Mecklenburg County, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges adopted children and their families face. That experience sparked a decades-long mission to find better, more effective ways to help.

In 2001, Sally launched her private practice to focus exclusively on adopted children and their families. Today, she is Charlotte's foremost expert in adoption, attachment, and developmental trauma — and the only clinician in the area combining Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy with Neurofeedback therapy.

"Sally is the only clinician to combine Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy with Neurofeedback — a powerful combination for treating developmental trauma."
